07/10/18: The National Federation of Independent Business (“NFIB”) reported today that its June survey of business owners of U.S. companies that employ fewer than 500 people indicates that the optimism of those persons remained during June near the highest level since November 2004 in response to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, reductions of business regulations and government policies that help them to grow. That’s a very positive development because the U.S. economy, as well as U.S. stock prices, in general, tends to move in the same direction as the economic sentiment of small business owners.
