- Apple (AAPL): The Nikkei Asian Review reported that Apple Inc. asked its supply chain to make approximately 20% fewer components for the company’s iPhones during the latter half of 2018.
- Amazon (AMZN): Amazon.com, Inc. announced that it’s planning to open a second fulfillment center in Tulsa, Oklahoma and to hire 1,500 people to work at the 600,000s square-foot state-of-the-art facility.
- Commerzbank (CBK) and Deutsche Bank (DBK): Bloomberg reported that Deutsche Bank AG Chairman Paul Achleitner has spoken with certain of the company’s shareholders about merging with Commerzbank AG.
- EDAP TMS (EDAP): EDAP TMS S.A. announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the company’s Focal One ultrasound device for the removal of prostate tissue.
